We Are So Much Smarter

I saw this and had to post it. Its true. I was reading through a manual for a kitchen appliance and it has cautions such as:

Do not place hands or face near steam vent or you may get burned.

or

Do not touch hot surfaces during or immediately after use.

Really? So much for common sense.
