Uwharrie Route 1

We have been doing a lot of riding near the Uwharrie National Forest and have finally decided to release a GPX route that we feel encompasses a lot of what that area has to offer.  This does NOT contain any of the gravel roads OHV trails inside the national forest but all the areas AROUND the forest. This is a route with both dirt, gravel, and paved roads. Lots of winding roads, farmland, and views. And as a bonus, it ends at the Bigfoot Bar and Grill.

The first route is 13 miles while the second is 42 miles. It takes about 90 minutes to complete both routes. So why two routes? There is one section where where you take the same roads for a few miles. I could not get my GPS software to allow that so I just created two routes (1 and 2). At some point I will get better but for now, it works.

We tried to maximize the off road as much as we could. This is actually a fun ride. The only item that has been left out was the Pigsah Covered Bridge (you can easily go a few miles out of your way to go to see it on Route 2).
