The Hideout
While riding up to Defuniak Springs, I passed this really cool looking dive bar and made sure to stop on my way back home. Glad I did since this was a great bar. They had a live band and the place was packed with a lot of interesting bikes. I met another fellow adventure bike rider (he had a GS) and stuck around for a couple of hours talking, listening to music, and drinking a few beers.

I am not sure if this place is only open on weekends or not. It is in the middle of nowhere om Highway 81 so check to make sure they are open.

On another trip, I did manage to stop by again and try their food. I opted for the cheeseburger.
They had quite a number of items on the menu. I did notice that there was a group of about 12 older women eating here for lunch as well. Overall I would say that the food is quite good so stop by if you are hungry.
