Sunday Drive to the Beaver

So it rained ALL day Friday. Weather broke and we went to the Meltdown on Saturday. It rained all night and at 1:30, the weather broke. Texted Kirk and we hit the road to head to the beaver.

This is a great local bar in Plaza Midwood. We have written about the Beaver before. Tucked in between apartment high rises, this is a friendly local bar with a great selection, great prices, live music, and an outdoor patio. We try to make it down their most Sundays.

This Sunday was no exception and we had a blast. When we got there, not many folks were present. Just give it time. With a band at 5pm, they soon arrived and the place was a hopping.

If you are in the Charlotte area, give the Thirsty Beaver a try. You will not be disapointed. A great place to hang out on a Sunday and chat with new friends.
