Planning First Big Ride

We are looking at probably doing the SCAR as our first big ride. It is relatively close and we can do it in a couple of months. We are just in the planning phase looking at the routes, where to stay, food, gas, sights, etc. Getting pretty excited about taking this first leap where we are not setting up a central camping site and doing rides from there.

There is a great site for SCAR that really gives you a lot of help when trying to plan a trip like this. So we will be watching the weather this winter and looking for a good time for us to take the plunge.
