Givi Luggage Cases
This is always controversial among cyclists...hard or soft luggage. We decided to go with hard sided. Why? We looked at how we used our bikes and having a case that we can lock up with our helmets, jackets, or whatever was important.
Yes, we understand that if you fall over, a hard sided case can hurt you. We will not go into all that drama. We like the hard sided cases and we stuck with them. No regrets.
We opted for the Monokey Dolomiti style. The sizes are great (36lt and 46lt). The top box can fit our helmet (if needed) as well. Also, all three boxes are keyed the same (you will need to swap out the top box cylinder with the extra one that comes with the side cases (very easy to do - just need a screwdriver).

Why Givi. Need to thank Kirk for this as he did all the research! A well known and reliable brand in the industry. Also, the mounting racks are readily available to fit both the Givi boxes AND our Tigers.
We do like the boxes. It is great that we can lock up our helmets, gloves, etc and do not have to worry about them walking off.
