Lucky Turn Around
I recently was able to visit this local dive bar the other day while out riding. I originally passed by this a few days before and it caught my eye as a place that I would probably enjoy. I was right. A great local bar where the bartenders are nice and the patrons are friendly as well.
It is VERY easy to pass by this place. There is a small sign on the road but the place is kind of set back. There is a large gravel and some paved parking. The building is pretty non-descript - here is a picture.
One thing I have learned over the years is to NOT judge by looks alone. So I pulled in and went inside. The insides do not match the outsides.
Inside LTR - my kind of place
They have all the typical beers you would want (PBR, High Life, Coors Banquet) and they also have food but it is only pizza. They do make it themselves. The crust they buy but every pizza, they sauce it up and put on all the toppings. This is not a Totinos special! I did not try one but I will be back to order one for sure.
I met a friend here and we wanted to check out a few other local places before it got dark. If in the area, definitely check this place out. Worth the trip.
