Klim Adventure GTX boot field test

Klim Adventure GTX boot field test

I decided to give these boots a proper field test by hiking the Buffalo Creek Preserve Trail. The trail is a 2.1 mile (one way) natural surface trail that takes you through wooded areas and along Adams Creek.

There is a swinging bridge over the creek that offers great views of the creek and a little sense of adventure.

A good adventure boot gives you protection, support and comfort while riding but also allows you to hike to an overlook or wherever your adventures take you in comfort and mobility.  These boots are not totally broken in but did the 4+ total miles without blisters or any discomfort.  The trail is not technical but I was still pleasantly suprised.  The temperature was in the upper 80s/lower 90s and the boots were not terribly hot.

Thumds up for the Klim Adventure GTX boot!
