Hotwired Jacket Liner

For Christmas, my family bought me a 12v heater jacket liner by Hotired (12v Bluetooth Heated Jacket Liner). That afternoon, I connected the wiring harness to the battery and took it out for a test ride.

This week has been unexpectedly VERY cold (below 10 at night). The first ride I took with it on the temperature was 28. It really does make a difference. I put it on the highest setting and the only thing I was wearing was a light long sleeve t-shirt, the heated liner, and my Klim jacket.

While on the highway, I could feel the coolness creeping in. I think if I wear a fleece barrier, the heat will work better. Not sure on that and will play around with what to wear while using the jacket.

Overall, I am very happy with it. Is it the best on the market? No idea. Will it last a long time? No idea. What I can tell you is that having a heated jacket is VERY nice and I am now looking at adding the gloves as well (my fingertips and thumbs tend to get cold on these rides).
