Billy Jack's Shack

A group of us were heading over to the Independent Picture House to watch the movie "The Bikeriders" and wanted a place to eat before the 7:30 show. I am not familiar with this area but suggested we go to Billy Jack's Shack.

This restaurant/bar in located in NoDa and just be forewarned, parking can be difficult. Since we were on motorcycles, we "found" a place to park (basically we squeezed into an alley). Since it was across the street, we were able to keep an eye on them.

The place has a great vibe to it. They have a good beer selection and robust food menu. They did have PBR on draft and for my meal, I had sliders with tots.

The good was quite good and the prices very reasonable. I will definitely be back for a visit when I am in the area.
