Big Agnes Insulated Q-Core Deluxe
This has got to be the most comfortable packable sleeping pad I have slept on. I was a bit worried that I would be uncomfortable laying on my side or my back. Nope. No issues at all.
The pad itself is a bit heavy but worth it. In the past, most of the pads I have used were approximately an inch thick. They were adequate but I was also much younger. This bed is thick and comfy.
Inflating it is different. I was used to blowing up the bed. This comes with a bag that you attach, allow air in, then roll it up to inflate your bed. It does take a bit longer but no more hyperventilating.
You can make it as hard or as soft as you want. Kirk likes his a bit softer. I like mine full of air. I do not want to feel the ground.
The best part of this pad is how well it integrates to our sleeping bags. Just wrap the corners around the pad and it stays put. No matter how much you toss or turn, you will NOT fall off this pad.
Deflating is quick and easy. There is a second valve and you open it up and it instantly deflates. We rolled our up fairly easily and did not have any trouble getting it back into the original stuff sack.
There are not enough good things I can say about this pad. I loved it.
